FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: CONSIGNMENTS 1) What do you sell? ANSWER: Almost anything is auction eligible in the state of Missouri. We do not accept: - clothes (with few exceptions) - garage sale leftovers - hazardous materials (open chemicals/paint) - outdated electronics (unless vintage/antique) - inoperable appliances - vehicles without titles 2) What commission do you charge? ANSWER: Our Commission Rates are as follows: Sell general merchandise in our building = 35% Sell titled automobiles at our building = 10% *Sell firearms in our building = 10% Sell real estate = 3% Sell land = 1% Conduct a sale at your location = (CALL FOR QUOTE) NOTE: We are not a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). We can only sell firearms as part of an estate in accordance with ATF Ruling 96-2. 3) When do you accept consignments? ANSWER: We accept scheduled consignments on Monday from 8AM-NOON/1PM-5PM. Call ahead to schedule your consignment as we are generally booked 2-3 auctions in advance. (We do not store consignments, they sell the very next auction.) 4) Do you haul for consigners? ANSWER: Yes, we absolutely do. There's $150/load charge that covers up to 25 miles from our auction house in Palmyra and time to load furniture and already boxed items from a single story (no stairs) building. If you are more than 25-miles, have multiple floors, or need us to box your merchandise for you, we'll meet you in advance and give you a quote. 5) How many items do I need to have an auction? ANSWER: We have an auction house with WEEKLY auctions every Saturday at 4PM. Because we run a weekly auction house, and not just schedule auctions as consignments come in, we can take any estate big or small. We run auctions for 10+ consigners almost every auction. Have a small assortment of coins, jewelry, or other high value items you want to sell? Give us a call! We'll pair it with similar items from another consigner to help draw a buying audience! Have an assortment of antiques or collectibles to display on a table? Give us a call! We'll incorporate it into an auction and advertise it for you! Have an automobile you want to sell but don't want to trade in at a dealer? Give us a call! We'll display it in front of our building for an auction or two for everyone to see and advertise it to draw in the best possible buying audience!
